:: Tuesday, August 27, 2002 ::

Yo - sorry for the lack of updatage!  Webmasta Wump is movin so bear with me for a lil bit.  Should all be done this weekend mkay.  As far as =PCI= stuff goes, we beat clan LiCK on shop for CAL (I think?) and got a forfeit win on IGL and beat TF in AIT and tonight we face WSBW for TWL.  If any of that info is wrong then i apologize but only a little.  Been havin some good games lately from the sounds of it - OH yeah I almost forgot that those greasy Dev monkeys beat us in a close game on HK2 last week as well.  It was broadcast on the TSN and was a lot of fun to listen to.  Some people are trying that 1942 game, but the initial reviews sound less than stellar.  Thats really about it i think, aside from the common knowledge that Maelstrom is gae.

Beat down the Sapphire Blade on TWL on Monday, and then got spanked by zfz last night on Finca (AIT).  We face dev on CAL soon on HK2 map - so practice up for that if you can.

:: Tuesday, August 6th, 2002 ::

Been busy around these parts lately.  Which is good to see for a change.  Had a great CAL Match vs LiCK Sunday on Raven - Sol, Wump, Prozak, Mud and Naboo fielded.  We won but it was close and LiCK put up a great fight - seemed like a really great group all around so that was cool.

In other news - in hopes to burn us all out on SoF2 before AC2 comes out, Solicitor has signed us up for 2 more leagues!  So we have matches every Wednesday now for the Ahriman Corps Invitational League and then some other one that supposedly has prizes but don't quote me on that.  So ya - plenty of fraggin to go around that is for sure.

Oh btw - thought I would share with you all this very special "Kodak Moment" that happened on Finca the other day.  This is an actual screenshot taken by me.

Today is also the release of Lord of the Rings on DVD as well as Simpson's 2nd season so I assume there will be much rejoicing.  Remember tonight is the TSN broadcast for the dev vs zfz match if you are interested.  Of course this is for the #1 spot on the TWL and it should be a sweet match - so tune in!  GL to both teams.

:: Tuesday, July 30, 2002 ::

Another insane match last night as =PCI= squared off vs the mighty Zero Five Zero clan!  Both teams were undefeated going into this match.  We gave it a damn good run, taking Columbia in sudden death overtime, started strong on shop but were edged out in the final rounds, and then beaten on Hong Kong by 2 rounds.  Overall the match was very fun and intense even though we suffered our first loss from it.  Wump, Kalem, Du, Chode, Thwak, Az and FG fielded, with Sol subbing in for Kalem on Hong Kong.  Unfortunately we didnt get the game broadcasted by the TSN which would have been fun.  Great games to zfz.

:: Tuesday, July 23, 2002 ::

Defended our #1 spot on TWL last nite vs. Deviant Øbjectives.  What a match!  2 sudden death overtimes and 3 maps played, very equal and intense battle, by far the best we have had in a long while.  Props to Dev for bein a great clan to face off against.  I am sure we will be seeing more of them soon.  

Sol, Az, FG, Thwak, Chode, Mud, and Wump fielded - Sol alone kept us in the game on Hong Kong for a few rounds - was a total nailbiter.  Upload your demo's to the FTP if you haven't.  Also the match was... broadcasted on the Team Sportcast Network.  It was the announcer's first match in SoF2, so its not the best but still was kinda cool.  If you want to hear it, he made it available for download here (warning - 29 MB mp3).  He really liked it when we got killed, and didn't really seem to think we won, but his kid was rootin for us at least.

Anyways was a very insane match - can't wait to play them again.  Next up - zfz has challenged us.  From what I hear they are some noob team that just started playing online a few weeks ago so it should be a total spankfest.  <g>  Practice up guys, this one gonna be tough.

:: Wednesday, July 17, 2002 ::

Been another good week.  Won our CAL match vs [HEL] on Sunday, and won our TWL match last night vs AC.  This week we have a bye on CAL so enjoy yer weekend :)

Other than that, not too much to report really.  Got some more pseudo-bios up and should have them all up soon.  Hopefully du will set up us the EB soon.

:: Wednesday, July 10, 2002 ::

The forums have arrived!  Just a warning though - its not pretty in there.  Our employees have been without a messageboard for a while and so for the first few weeks the company is not responsible for anything that happens in there - so enter at your own risk.

Won our first CAL match on sunday vs AKA.  I wasn't there so not sure on the details - talk to Sol if you want the skinny.

Goin for the #1 spot on Teamwarfare Eastern tonight - should be a great game.   *** Update - We beat TF in 2 rounds on Raven and Shop, so we are currently #1 on the ladder - wtg guys =)  ***

:: Sunday, June 23, 2002 ::

So we got the new Simulation Deck built here at the HQ, and our resident MCP (Azz) fired up our first simulation against a local band of ruffians known as zfz.  Not the nicest welcome to the new facilities - Azz put them on the nightmare setting and it was not pretty.  Seeing as how we will more than likely face them for real in the upcoming future, we have a bit of polishing to do.

Had our first TWL match last Friday - Sol, Thwak, Wump, George, Pr0zac, Anenom, Naboo all fielded for =PCI=.  We were victorious over World Leaders in 2 maps.  However TWL took a nosedive and so we have to wait for them to get back up and running before any more challenges can take place.

Also, Neverwinter Nights, Warcraft III, and Wipeout Fusion (PS2) have just been unleashed upon us, good quality games from what I hear.

Regardless, we still have our job to do - in fact Uncle Sam himself contacted our office this weekend with the following note.

Hope everyone had a great weekend. 

Things here are already shapin up, added some more bios and whatnot, props to Thwak and Pr0zak for bein on the ball!  Oh and Sol too.  To the rest of you, get yer bios done mkay ;)

We've been challenged on Team Warfare by World Leaders!  The match is set for this friday June 21st, at 9pm CST.  Maps to be played are: Shop, Raven, and Hong Kong.  So get yer butts off CTF and get some practice in on those.

Also duhasst is going to be moving the site to a new computer in a few weeks, and will not be able to get our forums up until then.  So be patient and just keep using the spamlist for now :).

We're back baby!!  

I'd just like to take this opportunity to welcome everyone to the new and improved =PCI= Headquarters.  Well... new anyways.  Like always I ask for your patience as we get through these trying times of construction, content will come soon, so keep checkin foo.  Props to duhasst for gettin the domain and webspace set up for us (to poop on) - hopefully everything will be fully functional asap.  Until then, go get your frag on, or at least get outside and enjoy the sun.

Also, feel free to send wump any ideas you have for the site - colors, layout, etc - it can all change i just wanted to get somethin up.  Also, when sending in your ideas, tact is usually a nice touch, and stupid ideas are generally trashed, just fyi.  If you hate everything about the site and want me to just start over and try again, die.

Other than that - enjoy your stay and please keep away from wump's cube...
